Call Signs & QSL Info

| All operators will use the Special Event 1X1 callsigns, K2A - K2M, ONLY, for their Colony state. The only time an operator will give out a home call is for ID every hour and for special QSL card information. |
| There is no need to enter each individual Colony Station's home call on your submitted log sheet! Just the special event 1x1 call sign. We know how many operators we have for each Colony state and who they are, so if a K2- 1x1 call sign is posted more times than there are operators for that state, then one is a pirate. The frequencies and the pile-ups will be monitored periodically, to insure you are contacting a legitimate Colony Station. |

| SPECIAL NOTES: |
| Special event station/Club WM3PEN (For William Penn) will be celebrating the 4th of July week Special Event, representing Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA and will participate with us during our 4th of July week event. |
| A contact with WM3PEN will get you a special endorsement on your certificate but WILL NOT count as a contact for Pennsylvania!!! |

| A few stations did operate as pirate stations, asking that you send your certificate request and $4 to them. They will not count as a Colony contact. It's a shame some folks will stoop that low, but it happens. There have been reports of false spotting of our Colony Stations on the different DX threads. We are asking anyone involved to PLEASE refrain from doing this. We are all out to have fun and celebrate the 4th of July together, so please join in on the fun with us! |

| ALL Colony stations will issue a special event QSL card this year! See the individual State pages below for details. |
| K2A/KU2US will issue a QSL card for NY only. For all 12 other cards, please QSL to the station listed on each state page, on this site, using the address info on QRZ.COM. Also please include an SASE for the QSL card only. |
| Most QSL cards were created and printed for the Colony Stations by Randy Dorman-KB3IFH, also a Colony Station - K2F in Maryland-NICE! |
| Collect all "13" for a set. All Colony States have real nice S/E QSL cards in full color, depicting their state flag or other designs promoting their Colony State! This is a must have collection for any shack wall! These cards are a limited edition and may change from year to year. The only way you can aquire a "set" is to complete a "Clean Sweep" of all Colony stations during the 5 day event. We QSL 100%. Sorry, no eQSL, LOTW or Buro-direct only. Good Luck! |
